Come, Christians, join to sing
Alleluia! Amen!
Loud praise to Christ our King
Alleluia! Amen!
Let all, with heart and voice
Before His throne rejoice
Praise is His gracious choice
Alleluia! Amen!

Come, lift your hearts on high
Alleluia! Amen!
Let praises fill the sky
Alleluia! Amen!
He is our Guide and Friend
To us He’ll condescend
His love shall never end
Alleluia! Amen!

Praise yet our Christ again
Alleluia! Amen!
Life shall not end the strain
Alleluia! Amen!
On heaven’s blissful shore
His goodness we’ll adore
Singing forevermore
Alleluia! Amen!

Santo, santo, santo! Senor Omnipotente!
Siempre el labio mio lo ores te da ra;
Santo, santo, santo, Te adoro rever ente!
Dios en tres Personas, bendita Trinidad!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.

Santo, santo, santo! Senor Omnipotente!
Vemos en tus o-bras el cielo, tierra y mar;
Santo, santo, santo, Te adoro reverente!
Dios en tres Personas, bendita Trinidad!

Tu fidelidad es grande
Tu fidelidad incomparable es
Nadie como Tu, Bendito Dios
Grande es tu fidelidad

Tu fidelidad es grande
Tu fidelidad incomparable es
Nadie como Tu, Bendito Dios
Grande es tu fidelidad
Grande es tu fidelidad
Grande es tu fidelidad

Though the earth cried out for blood
Satisfied her hunger was
Her billows calmed on raging seas
For the souls of men she craved
Sun and moon from balcony
Turned their head in disbelief
Their precious love would taste the sting
Disfigured and disdained

On Friday a thief, On Sunday a king
Laid down in grief But awoke with the keys to hell
(To hell) on that day Firstborn of the slain
The man Jesus Christ Laid death in his grave

So three days in darkness slept
The morning sun of righteousness
But rose to shame the throws of death
And over turn his rule
Now daughters and the sons of men
Would pay not their dues again
The debt of blood they owed was rent
When the day rolled anew

He has cheated Hell and seated
Us above the fall
In desperate places He paid our wages
One time once and for all

Words & Music: John Mark McMillan, 2010

Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You

Vine adorarte
(So here I am to worship)
Vine a postrarme
(Here I am to bow down)
Vine a decir que eres mi DIOS
(Here I am to say that You’re my God)
Solo tú eres grande
(And You’re altogether lovely)
Solo tú eres digno
(Altogether worthy)
Eres asombroso para mi
(Altogether wonderful to me)

Tú eres el rey
(King of all days)
Grandemente exaltado
(Oh so highly exalted)
Glorioso por siempre Señor
(Glorious in heaven above)
Al mundo que creaste humilde viviste
(Humbly You came to the earth You created)
Y pobre te hiciste por Amor
(All for love’s sake became poor)

And I’ll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I’ll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

If Jesus kindly say,
And with a whispering word,
“A-rise my love and come away,”
I run to meet my Lord.

My soul is in my ears;
My heart is all on flame;
My eyes are sweetly drowned in tears,
And melted is my frame.

My raptured soul will rise up,
And give a cheerful spring,
And dart through all the lofty skies,
To visit Zion’s King.
To visit Zion’s King.

He meets me with a kiss,
And with a smiling face;
I taste the dear, enchanting bliss,
And wonder at his grace.

A soft and tender sigh,
Now heaves my hollowed breast;
I long to lay me down and die,
And find eternal rest.

Scripture

A Song of Ascents.
1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the LORD surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
lest the righteous stretch out
their hands to do wrong.
4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good,
and to those who are upright in their hearts!
5 But those who turn aside to their crooked ways
the LORD will lead away with evildoers!
Peace be upon Israel! (ESV)

2 It shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the house of the LORD
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and shall be lifted up above the hills;
and all the nations shall flow to it,
3 and many peoples shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 He shall judge between the nations,
and shall decide disputes for many peoples;
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore. (ESV)

22But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
23and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and
to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made
perfect, 24and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the
sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
